Cauliflower Crust Pizza!

This pizza is amazing! I sure though it tasted like the real thing! I’ve tried fat head dough pizza and my husband wasn’t a huge fan of it, neither was I! After much reading about cauliflower crust I finally decided to give it a try! It’s so easy and quick to make. I went for the quicker version and decided to use already riced frozen cauliflower!

INGREDIENTS (for crust)

• 2 Cups Frozen riced cauliflower

• 1/3 cup Monterrey Jack shredded cheese

• 1/3 cup Sharp cheddar shredded cheese

• 1 Large egg

• 1 TBSP grated Parmesan cheese

• 1 TBSP Italian seasoning

• 1/4 Tsp garlic powder

• 1/4 Tsp sea salt

• 1/4 Tsp oregano powder

PIZZA TOPPINGS

• Sharp cheddar shredded cheese

• Monterrey Jack shredded cheese

• Raos Marinera Sauce

• Pepperoni or any other toppings of your choice!

INSTRUCTIONS

Pre heat oven at 450 F.

In a microwave safe bowl heat up cauliflower rice for 4 minutes. Once that is done transfer it to a kitchen towel and squeeze out as much water as possible from the cauliflower. This is an important step! The less water in the cauliflower the crispier the crust! If too watery it will make your crust soggy.

Return cauliflower to a bowl and add the rest of the ingredients mixing it all together until well incorporated.

Line a cookie sheet or pizza stone (I used pizza stone) with parchment paper. Grab your cauliflower “dough” and roll it into a ball with your hands. Now press it down on the parchment paper with your hands making a your pizza shape. Make sure it’s not so thick or too thin!

Put crust in the oven and let it cook for 15 minutes. Flip crust and put in the oven for another 10 minutes. Checking it to make sure it’s not burning. Time may vary depending if you used a cookie sheet or pizza stone.

lower oven temperature to 350 F.

Now for the fun part! Add your favorite pizza toppings! I kept it simple with just pepperoni! Bake for an extra 10 minutes or until cheese starts to brown a little. Enjoy!
